England Football League

The ‘FA England Football Accreditation’ replaced the ‘FA Charter Standard Accreditation’ in 2021

The Pioneer Youth League is ‘PROUD’ to be an ‘FA England Football’ League.

Playing a part in making our football environment safe, fun and inclusive by raising standards, raising awareness and taking action, making the accreditation worthwhile to be part of.

The FA England Football programme exists to positively improve people’s football experience through the accreditation.  The FA England Football Programme is open to all grassroots Clubs & Leagues. England Football aims to raise standards in the grassroots game through supporting the development of Clubs & Leagues.

Having achieved the ‘FA England Football’ accreditation, demonstrates that the League offer well-run and sustainable football.  We are proud to prioritise qualified coaching and safeguarding, as well as the values of the ‘FA’s Respect Programme’ as part of our game.

The FA have a clear vision to educate, empower, enable and equip Leagues & Clubs to ‘be the best places for people to play and enjoy football’.

Any Member Club not England Football accredited, at the time of the accreditation being awarded to the League, will have a two year period in which to obtain the England Football accreditation.  Full help and support for Clubs will be available from the League England Football Officer and Devon County FA.

New Clubs

New Clubs wishing to join the PYL should be ‘FA England Football’ Clubs.  Any Clubs applying to join without the accreditation, if accepted, will have a year in which to obtain the accreditation.  Full help and support for Clubs will be available from the League England Football Officer and Devon County FA.
